HealthyLiving
Terms of Use
1. These terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and HealthyLiving (Private) Limited (registration number PV 000000, registered address No. 1, Sample Road, Colombo 00100, Sri Lanka), which operates HealthyLiving at staging.healthyiliving.com.
By creating an account you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information, and our Medical Disclaimer.
2. What the service is
HealthyLiving is a personal health record. It lets you store and organise health information that you enter or upload, for yourself and for people you care for, and show it to a doctor when you choose to.
The information in your record is what you, or someone helping you at your request, put there. We do not check it against your doctor's or a laboratory's records.
3. Not medical advice, not an emergency service
HealthyLiving does not diagnose illness and does not replace advice from a doctor, pharmacist or emergency service. Automatic checks, calculated values, guidance and AI answers are information only. Please read the Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
In an emergency, contact your local emergency service or go to the nearest hospital. Do not rely on this service.
4. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over, and able to enter into a binding agreement, to create an account. Younger people can be included as a family profile on a parent's or guardian's account.
5. Your account
- An account is for one person. Give your real name and an email address that only you control.
- You sign in with a code sent to your email. Anyone who can read your email can sign in to your account, so keep your email account secure and never share a sign-in code.
- Tell us straight away through the contact form if you think someone else has used your account.
- You are responsible for what is done through your account.
6. Family profiles
You may add a family profile only for someone you have the right to act for: your child, a person for whom you are the legal guardian, or an adult who has agreed to you keeping their record. You are responsible for having that right and for the accuracy of what you enter.
When someone on a family profile turns 18, you can invite them to take over their own record. Once they accept, it moves to their account and you no longer have access to it.
7. Your information and documents
- You keep ownership of the information and documents you put into your record.
- You allow us to store, process and display them only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Only upload documents you are entitled to keep, about yourself or someone on your account.
- Keep your own copies of important medical documents. This service should not be the only place a medical record is kept.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- enter information about someone you have no right to act for;
- try to reach another person's account or records, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
- upload anything unlawful, or any file intended to cause harm;
- use automated tools to send requests or messages to the service; or
- use the service to give medical advice to others or to run a clinical practice.
9. Automatic checks and AI features
The service can show automatic checks on readings and results you record, calculated values, and reminders. Some features may use an AI service provided by another company, as described in the Privacy Policy. These features can be wrong or incomplete, and they only see what is in your record. They do not replace a doctor's judgement.
10. Plans and payment
The service is currently free. Paid plans are described in the app, but no payment can be taken, and during the launch period no feature is restricted by plan. Before payment is switched on, these terms will be updated with the prices, billing, cancellation and refund terms, and you will be asked to agree to them before paying anything.
11. Availability and changes
The service is in development. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance. We will try to give notice of changes that matter to you, but we cannot promise that the service will always be available or free of errors.
12. Suspending or closing an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time through the contact form. What happens to your information when an account closes is explained in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or the service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it is safe and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
13. Our responsibility to you
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of information in your record, for information entered incorrectly, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from a decision made only on the basis of information shown by the service, or from the service being unavailable for a time. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of Sri Lanka.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. The courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms. Before going to court, please contact us so that we can try to settle the matter.
15. Changes to these terms
Every version of these terms has a version number and effective date shown at the top of this page. We record which version you accepted when you created your account. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
